After a day spent discovering the landscape and cultural beauties of the island, there is nothing better than a beautiful evening in which to discover what it has to offer from the fun point of view! Of all the areas, the one that has a more lively nightlife in Phuket is certainly Patong.
Patong Beach, in Phuket, is located on the west coast of the island, about an hour by taxi from Phuket Airport.
Along its three and a half kilometers of sand, you can really find everything: bars, luxury restaurants, tourist attractions, and a lot of fun for the night. The beach is, in fact, a destination suitable for young people and all lovers of very busy holidaying: Patong Beach is the beach that never sleeps!
Although there are various areas suitable for entertainment, such as Rat-U-Thit Road and Beach Road— the nightlife hot spot is Bangla Road. Here you can find many places that offer various types of entertainment. At sunset, it is closed to traffic and turns into a strip of music and lights, pubs, street vendors, and performances by various street artists.
The real soul of the party is the various cross streets of this long road, called “Soi” in the Thai language, each with its own name and its own distinctive characteristics— Soi Crocodile where the famous Moulin Rose cabaret show is, where you can enjoy the stage performances of transsexual dancers. There’s Soi Freedom where you’ll find mainly female entertainment. And the recently renovated, Soi Seadragon where a large number of clubs can be found, with music and light effects creating a unique atmosphere.

Illuzion Club & Discotheque
This is a fantastic discotheque in Phuket and regarded as one of the best night clubs in the whole country as worldwide known artists and DJs love to come and play on its stage.
Spread on two floors, it has an incredible sound system and a massive dance floor that gathers the biggest crowds of all the clubs on the island.
Regardless of it being very busy, it’s not a chaotic club and it’s very well organized. You can decide to enjoy your night on the dance floor, or book one of the many VIP tables— if that’s more your style.

Phuket’s Paradise Beach not only is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island— but it also hosts a popular beach club.
Paradise Beach Club it’s just 4 km away from Patong Beach, it’s often crowded both because of the amazing location and also because the parties are great, with DJs and internationally famous guests.
Especially the full moon parties here are regarded as some of the best in the whole Thailand, and special shuttles are organized from Patong to join in on these special nights.
During the day you go to the beach and you can settle in a gazebo or on a bed and listen to lounge music then, in the evening, that’s when the real wild party starts!

One of the most popular and famous discos in Phuket is certainly Banana Disco: it differs from other clubs first of all for its tranquility as the controls are strict to avoid letting in who’s too young or excessively intoxicated.
It’s one of the historic establishment of Phuket, it was already here in 1994, it’s a very large open space, which allows the organization of big concerts and lives music shows.
The good music in addition to the excellent drinks and nice design are the secrets that have made this place one of the most popular in the area.
There’s a nice crowd of local youngsters and tourists, we recommend not to arrive at the Banana Disco too early— you’ll risk being all by yourself before midnight.

Located at the bottom end of Soi Gonzo, the White Room is a rather small night club, so it can full up quite quickly.
Despite the size, the White Room is a very modern and trendy club with outstanding sound and light system.
As you probably guessed, the White Room is a less dark club than others, VIP tables are available and the smaller size makes it feel more friendly and welcoming than other bigger clubs.

Red Hot Club
One of the best places in Phuket for live music. The bands are mostly local and play an international repertoire of different genres on stage. With a lot of covers of western classic from the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s rock and pop hits.
You can dance or sit and have a cocktail while watching the band playing. It’s also a great place to have some drinks before going to dance your night away in a club or discotheque.
Certainly a quieter place than the clubs and discos we mentioned earlier.

Patong Boxing Stadium
